How We Do Business
Payment is always required in advance of shipment. At present we mostly use Royal Mail services for addresses in the UK, within the European Union, & Overseas. If your (UK) order is urgent we can ship by Royal Mail's Next-Day (excluding Weekends) delivery service, at an extra cost.
All payments are by means of a UK credit or debit card, using either Paypal or Sagepay as our secure Payments Service Provider. If we cannot ship all or some of your goods immediately, then we make an immediate refund. We don’t normally run back-orders – if we don’t have the goods, then we don’t carry the order forward. We don’t normally make substitutions, but we may contact you if we think we have something very similar which may be suitable.
Packaging: Although we operate at some distance from you, we do try to deliver a satisfying retail experience. Items you buy from us are frequently tissue-wrapped, and usually bubble-wrapped as well, so that you receive a parcel that brings some pleasure.
UK delivery charges: We charge £2.95 for UK Basic post & packaging, but for UK orders over £75.00 we waive our charge for P&P.
You can arrange to collect your order from our shop at 23 Rectory Grove, in Leigh-on-Sea, but please wait for email or telephone confirmation before setting out to make your collection. If you arrange this when you place your order there is no P&P charge.
EU deliveries: All EU deliveries are charged a minimum flat-rate post & packing charge of £6.95 for shipments up to 1 Kg. If your requirements exceed this weight, then we will contact you so that we can make special arrangements, and quote an appropriate price for delivery.
OVERSEAS shipping, beyond EU: Because shipping charges can vary a lot for Overseas destinations, we charge a standard shipping deposit of £25.00, and adjust this to take account of actual costs incurred – which can result in either a refund or an additional charge.
Our shipping cut-off times are normally around midday, Monday to Friday.
Postage is not charged in respect of Gift-Vouchers, though P&P may be charged when the voucher is redeemed. Most of our goods are zero-rated for VAT, but where this is not the case all our prices include UK VAT as applicable. Our VAT registration number is GB909 5741 01
Cancelling your Order: If, after you have paid for your order you decide not to proceed, then contact us with all possible haste with your order reference number and, providing that your order has not been mailed, then we will refund your payment in full. If your order has already been mailed, then you will need to return the goods promptly to us before we can make a refund, less any postage charges.

Changing your mind – Need a different size? : We will accept returns up to 14 days after shipment, provided that they are unworn and in their original packaging, for a full refund, minus our original postage charge/costs. You must pay the postage costs for any return to us. We only refund in case of returns actually received.
Faulty goods: Everything we sell is warranted to be of fair quality and fit-for-purpose. If you notice any manufacturing defects, please return the goods to us within a reasonable time, with details of when purchased, and we will provide you with a replacement, repair or refund – at our discretion. You must pay the postage costs for any return to us.
Webshop Discount Vouchers: Are only valid for orders for which stock is available at the time of ordering, and within any advertised validity period. Goods partly paid for with a discount voucher can only be refunded at their net, discounted value.
Fair Trade: We are guided by the UK Office of Fair Trading’s “Distance Selling Regulations” and we make every effort to be the kind of retailer you will want to come back to time after time. If you are not satisfied with our service – PLEASE tell us…..
